New Brunswick Home Support Association

Press Release September 30th, 2010

The New Brunswick Home Support Association congratulates David Alward and his team for their recent electoral victory.

We applaud the stance of common sense and fiscal responsibility that the new government is taking. The challenges will be huge but not insurmountable. The NBHSA represents 44 agencies and 3500 staff across the province providing in home care for seniors and the infirm. We not only represent a cost effective way to keep people in their homes but the industry is a significant employer and does not represent a flight risk for any investment made to it.

Our industry requires investment in education and infrastructure to improve services to New Brunswickers.

The newly elected government has committed better care to our seniors and the infirm. Investment here will make common sense and shows fiscal responsibility.
